  • HOW CAN I BOOK A DATE FOR MY EVENT?

Call or email to speak with us about your date. There is a $300 security deposit to reserve a date, $400 if alcohol will be served, which is refundable after the event if there are no damages.

  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE PAID THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?

After booking, you will receive a contract and invoice. Please contact us once you receive the contract to schedule a contract meeting. Your contract meeting must be held within 2 weeks of receiving the contract and can be a phone conference if you are out of town. The contract needs to be signed at this meeting.

  • WHEN ARE MY PAYMENTS DUE?

Half of your rental package fee is due six (6) months prior to your event date.  The remaining venue balance is due no later than 60 days before your event.  Any remaining balance for additional items (i.e. tables, chairs, linens) or additional help (i.e.  set up or break down) will be due 2 weeks before the event.

  • WHAT SPACE IS AVAILABLE AT GRANDALE?

Our lower level floor plan, with room sizes and layout, is available under the "Event Venue" section or by clicking here.  We have a large deck at the rear with a ramp that makes it accessible to those who cannot use stairs. Our "Bridal Chamber” and “Grooms Room” are located on our upper level especially for your enjoyment.

  • WHAT ITEMS DOES THE MANOR HAVE AVAILABLE TO RENT?

We have round and oblong tables in different sizes and heights.  Tablecloths are available in white or gold, depending on sizes.   Our folding chairs are white, padded and made of rosin.  These are available for rent.  Tents may be rented from outside vendors and used on the deck or grounds.  Tent sizes should be discussed at your contract meeting.

  • HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES GRANDALE ACCOMMODATE INDOORS?

For a seated, place setting dinner arrangement, 75 to 100 is very comfortable.  A standing style event can accommodate up to 200. There are also many other seating and standing options available.  For additional people, a tent outdoors may be discussed with our facility rental coordinator.

  • CAN I USE MY OWN CATERER?

Any caterer meeting the following criteria may be used for an event at GranDale Manor as long as they meet with GranDale Manor for approval. If a company is not on the approved catering list they must:

  1. Have a current business license

  2. Have a current health inspection

  3. Have insurance naming GranDale Manor as additional insured for $I million dollars.

Copies of these forms must be sent to GranDale Manor.  You may also provide your own food without the use of a caterer.  Our kitchen is furnished with a refrigerator, microwave, large upright warmer, prep tables and storage shelves.

  • WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR ALCOHOL?

You may purchase and bring your own alcohol to the Manor or have your caterer provide alcohol.  All alcohol must be served by an ABC licensed server.  Kegs are allowed, but please remember to bring your own container for the keg and a tap.

  • HOW / WHEN CAN I DECORATE FOR MY EVENT?

Items that need to be brought to the manor need to be delivered and set up during your rental time.  Your rental time provides time before the guests arrive for decorating and deliveries; as well as time after the farewell for breakdown and loading.  All decorations must be freestanding or tied to existing structures.  Nails, tape, tacks, staples or any fasteners are not allowed.

  • HOW DOES MY TIME FRAME WORK?

Your rental agreement will determine how many hours are included in your package.  Your particular set-up, event length and break down time requirements should be considered when booking your event.  All rentals must end by midnight.

  • CAN I HAVE A DJ OR BAND AT MY EVENT?

Yes!  Bands and DJ’s must be approved due to the decibel level restrictions and time frames for setup/breakdown.  If you choose a DJ that has not frequented GranDale Manor, we ask that they sign a form acknowledging they know the decibel level at which they need to stay.  Music must stay under 75 decibel since GranDale Manor is located in a residential area.
